Founded with three guiding principles;
- Basketball is for everyone. No exclusions, No exceptions. This must be central to everything Ball & Hoop does.
- To build a community of team-mates for positive change based on our shared love of Basketball and belief in "Ball & Hoop 4 All'.
- Don't just say it. Live it. A minimum 10% of all profit goes back into the community, creating spaces for everybody to access Basketball.
About
For most of my adult life, I have looked at the Basketball brands out there and longed for something more, a brand that I would be proud to represent.
Eventually I asked myself, why not just build one yourself?
So that's what I'm doing...
Ball & Hoop Co. For all.
The earliest history of Basketball was not a story of automatic inclusion.
Whether it be, Senda Berenson introducing Basketball for women in 1893, or Dr Edwin B Henderson introducing Basketball at what was then known as the "colored YMCA" in Washington DC in 1907 or the countless forgotten names who transported Basketball around the world.
The earliest history of Basketball is a woven tapestry of stories of people creating access where none previously existed.
Fast forward to the present day, in-spite of the incredible work of those who came before us, as a society, we are more divided and isolated than ever.
Which is why I feel like Basketball is more vital than ever, as a positive force against division, to find common ground, build connection, build community.
There should be no barrier to that, nobody should be excluded!
About the founder
Fell in love with Basketball as a 15 year old Way back in 1996.

"The things that make Basketball work, make life work." ~ Coach Morgan Wootten
When you strip everything else away, whether it's Basketball or life, I believe that team-work is the key element that make everything work
It that resonates with you, welcome to the team, let's get to work!
